Introduction into Philosophy for Children method at Perlyna school in Riga, Latvia
In December 2024 Olena Kozmenko, professor in pedagogal studies, and Bart Cosijn, founder of the Estonian Dialogue Academy, gave an introductory course in the Philosophy for Children method (P4C) for the teachers and team of the Perlyna education center for children from Ukraine in Riga.
The people of Perlyna are doing impressive work, providing education to the refugee community in the Latvian capital, weekdays, evenings and even in the weekends.
Together with the Perlyna center and one partner in Lituania we are preparing a extended training program for teachers and youth workers who want to learn the Philosophy for Children method.
Olena Kozmenko is a project partner of the Estonian Dialogue Academy for our projects with Ukrainian students and teachers in the Baltic states.
