In November 2025 we co-organised the 2nd International AHORA Conference, titled ‘Philosophy for Children in Central Europe: Civic Engagement as a Challenge to Hegemony’.
The event aimed to explore the role of children’s philosophical education as a catalyst for developing a critical citizenship that resists hegemonic structures.
Among the speakers were Dr. Dominika Depta-Marel, Milos Jeremic, Milica Sekulovic, Prof. Bruno Curko, Prof. Arie Kizel, Bart Cosijn & Prof. Olena Kozmenko, Dr. Peter Paul Elicor, Anna Szymaszczyk, Dr. Margarita Jeliazkova, Niels Van Hoof and Yuliia Kravchenko.
This conference was organised by The NGO “Philosophy for Children and Adults” (Ukraine), together with the NGO Philosophical Education Association “Phronesis” (Poland), NGO “Estonian Dialogue Academy” (Estonia) and Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (Serbia).
