Meet our people

Bart Cosijn, CEO, board member
Bart is a trainer, teacher and facilitator. He is the founder of the Estonian Dialogue Academy.
Bart has been training facilitation and moderation skills since 2011. He is a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines, writing about the importance of dialogue, empathic leadership, and deliberative democracy. He studied Philosophy for Children and Young people at the International School for Philosophy in the Netherlands. Before moving to Estonia, Bart worked for 15 years in the Netherlands and abroad as a citizens’ participation specialist, facilitator and moderator. In 2019 he published the booklet ‘On the Art of Moderating’.

Olena Kozmenko, project partner
Olena is a doctor in pedagogical sciences. She is co-founder of our Youth Dialogue Lab project.
Olena holds a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in Pedagogy and works as a professor at Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University (Kyiv). She has earned multiple degrees in psychology, pedagogy, and foreign language teaching, and has worked both as a practical psychologist and a lecturer. Her main research areas include higher education, student success, the formation of national identity, and problems of Ukrainian refugee integration.

Mia Pransmann, volunteer
Mia is studying politics and governance in Tallinn University. She is supporting our youth projects.

Viktoriia Skrypchuk, volunteer
Viktoriia currently works in the financial sector and is active in different initiatives supporting critical thinking and collaboration.
